students finish writing their Persuasive Essay Revisions in the classroom by hand.
Today the students learned 3 concepts to finish their essays with:
--Call to Action: this is where the author encourages the reader to take action. the author does this in the conclusion paragraph
--In-Text Citations: this is where the author quotes the secondary source properly with Author Name, Periodical Title, Article Title, and the quote itself properly punctuated
--Sources Cited Page: this is a standard Bibliography page. Students use the sources as cited at the bottom of the articles that Ms. Woolfolk provided
Finish Revisions for homework if necessary.
Friday, we go to the media center to finish typing them and print to hand in.
